Study in Japan from India
Japan combines world-class research universities with some of the most generous government scholarships in the world. National universities charge modest, fixed tuition, a growing number of degrees are taught fully in English, and Japan's ageing workforce means strong demand for international graduates in engineering and IT.
Why students choose Japan
Generous scholarships
The MEXT scholarship covers full tuition, a monthly stipend and return airfare, and many universities waive fees.
Affordable tuition
National universities charge the same fixed fee to Japanese and international students.
English-taught degrees
Global 30 and similar programs let you complete a full degree in English while learning Japanese.
Tech job market
Labour shortages in IT, engineering and manufacturing mean graduates can switch to a work visa after study.
